Additional Information:
The job of a bus escort includes the following duties:
• ensuring the safe transition of pupils with special needs from their homes to
school and home again each day
• liaising with parents and staff daily
• ensuring all children are safe on school transport
The successful applicant will be required to
• work for 3 hours approx daily at Department of Education rates
(hours of work will be confirmed when the bus route is confirmed)
• work every day the school is open (182 days in the school year)
• undergo Garda vetting and complete Children First online training.
