An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

St. Finian's National School is a Catholic school under the patronage of the Bishop of Meath. The certificate to teach religion in a Catholic primary school is a requirement for the post.
St. Finian’s National School is a co-educational rural school in the village of Clonard, Co. Meath. There are three multigrade mainstream classes and two special classes for children with Autism.
Initial allocation may be in a mainstream class or a special class for children with Autism. Initial duties are subject to change. Experience working with children with autism is desirable. We are seeking compassionate, dedicated and motivated teachers to join our team.
