An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teaching posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board of Management approves the successful candidate.

Experience assisting children with additional needs in a primary school setting.
Candidate must be able to work well within a team, display a strong work ethic and demonstrate a willingness to avail of further training.

The position will involve working closely with the class teacher and other staff in support of children with additional needs. It may require working with one or more children with additional needs throughout the day.

The successful candidate will be expected to respect the confidentiality of students at all times.
Appointment will be subject to not limited to : Satisfactory references, Current Vetting Requirements and Occupational Health Screening.
