An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

time Special Needs Assistant. (0.5)
• We are looking for someone who can be flexible and responsive to the needs of the
children and the school.
• We are looking for someone who is energetic, enthusiastic, can contribute to our
team and work on his/her own initiative.
• Candidates must be willing to undertake CPD courses which relate to the needs of the children & the school.
• Experience of and/or, training in working with children with A.S.D, EBD, FASD and challenging behaviours essential. Experience and/or training in diabetes and medical care needs desirable.
Please outline in your letter of application how your skills/experience meet the requirements
of the job description outlined above.
Appointment is subject to current Garda Vetting requirements and Occupational Health
Screening.
Applicants who are deemed to be members of the SNA Supplementary Panel with
supplementary panel rights, must furnish a certified copy of a completed Panel Form (PF1)
