Additional Information:
Carysfort N.S. is a co-educational primary school, catering from Junior Infants-6th class with three classes at each year level. Our school has a Catholic ethos and is under the patronage of the Catholic Archdiocese of Dublin.
The successful candidate must be fully registered with the Teaching Council of Ireland, be fully Garda vetted and have a minimum of twelve years teaching experience.
The roles and responsibilities of this post relate to the four domains of Leadership and Management, as specified in DES circular 0044/2019.

2. Managing the Organisation
3. Leading School Development
4.Developing Leadership Capacity
The following skills, knowledge and experience are desirable:
A commitment to continue to lead in accordance with the Catholic ethos of the school and to foster positive relationships with pupils, parents, staff, the Board of Management, the Parents' Association and the wider school community
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills both in leadership and teamwork
Ability to maintain the school's existing vibrant, progressive and supportive atmosphere
Proven leadership skills including policy development, School Self- Evaluation, strategic planning and implementation
Strong organisational and ICT skills
Knowledge and experience of SEN and a commitment to inclusion
Evidence of ongoing continuous professional development
An ability to engage effectively with outside agencies and community organisations
The successful candidate will be required to provide proof of qualifications.
