This position is to open our new ASD class at our school and to teach within this setting. We are a very small and developing school with only two class teachers and a teaching principal. We have a total of 4 teachers including the one SET Teacher. We would be looking for the following;
1. Leadership and Management skills and the ability to drive teaching and learning.
2. ASD/ SET/ Special Class teacher experience.
3. The ability to plan, deliver and enhance the teaching and learning within the ASD class and mainstream for all of our children.
4. To be an active team player, effective communicator and a positive member of the growing team.
5. To work closely with the school Principal, staff, outside agencies and parents to provide an area of excellence.
