An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

St. Michael's House Special National School, Raheny is a school for pupils with a Moderate General Learning Disability between the ages of four to eighteen years. Some of the pupils have complex needs including Autism, physical disability and care needs.
Candidates are required to have Teaching Council Registration. An additional qualification and experience of working in Special Education is advantageous. However, a real interest and dedication to working with students with Special Educational Needs to help them achieve their full potential is extremely important.

The fixed term is until the end of June 2023.
