An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Established in 2013, Lucan CNS is a developing school which hosts classes from Junior Infants to Sixth Class. As a school community, we are also very proud of our two ASD classes.
Lucan CNS is a multi-denominational school and welcomes pupils of all faiths, beliefs and traditions. Lucan CNS comes under the patronage of Dublin and Dún Laoghaire Education and Training Board.
Lucan CNS strives to create an environment which encourages excellence in education, using innovative and dynamic approaches, where all members of the school community work in partnership to help each child achieve to the fullest of his/her potential.
