An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Scoil Náisiúnta Bhiorainn, Berrings National School has the following positions available:
1) 1 year fixed-term position for the 2022/2023 school year
2) 1 year subbing position from Aug 30th 2022 to the end of June 2023 (to cover a year long job share using parental leave)
3) Maternity leave, beginning in September 2022

One of these positions will be in the role of Special Education Teacher, 2 days a week in Berrings National School and 3 days a week in a school in Ballincollig. (Berrings NS is the base for this post)
Both other positions will be in mainstream classes.
