Derrylamogue National School is opening an Autism Class in September. We are looking to employ a bus escort in a part-time capacity to facilitate transport of children enrolled in the class.
Applicants would need to be available in the
morning before school and after school(infant hours finishing at 2pm). The current hourly rate, set by the Department of
Education, is €13.87 per hour. Duties will include escorting children to and from Derrylamogue National School, assisting children to board and alight safely from the school transport, ensuring
that all children are seated with appropriate straps and harnesses where provided and ensuring that each pupil is received by some responsible person at the set down point.
All Bus Escort will have to be Garda vetted by the school.
