An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
Scoil Eoin Phóil II Naofa which is under the patronage of the Diocese of Meath is designated by the Department of Education and Skills as a base school for the Primary Schools Supply Panel Pilot Scheme. The purpose of the Primary Schools Supply Panel Pilot Scheme is to provide substitute cover in a designated cluster of schools for teachers who are absent on short term substitutable leave.
The Supply Panel teacher:
- Will be appointed by the Board of Management of Scoil Eoin Phóil II Naofa under a fixed term contract until 31 August 2023
- Will be required to provide substitute cover in all schools in the designated cluster and
- May be deployed in a variety of settings including various class standards, special education settings and Irish Medium Schools
Travel expenses will be payable to the supply panel teacher as per Circular Letter 0009/2015
