An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Additional Information: St. Michael's House Special NS Baldoyle is a school for pupils with Severe or Profound General
Learning Disabilities and complex medical needs, ranging in age from 4 to 18 years.
Experience in teaching children with additional educational needs and knowledge of teaching
strategies such as Intensive Interaction, Lamh, PECS, Positive Behaviour Supports is desirable.
Also some experience in working as part of class team (SNAs and Nurses) alongside a School
Age Team is a distinct advantage.
We are seeking teachers with a strong commitment and genuine interest in the education of
children with complex needs, to reach their full potential
