An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
St. Michael's J.B.S. is a Catholic school. The successful candidate must hold the appropriate Certificate to teach Catholic Religious Education.
St. Michael's J.B.S. is seeking to appoint a team player who is willing to contribute to the overall development of St. Michael's J.B.S.
The following skills, experience and qualifications are desirable:
* Probation
* Experience in teaching infants
* Experience in the following areas will be advantageous:
Aistear, School Support Plans, Guided Reading,
Running Records, Team-Teaching in Literacy and Numeracy.
* Interests/skills/experience in PE/Sport/ Music are advantageous.
Three copies of the application form should be submitted.
Applications should be clearly marked Application for Teaching Position on the outside of the envelope.
Non-compliance with terms of the advertisement will automatically disqualify candidates.
