An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Additional Information:
This advertisement is for two fixed-term positions with intended initial duties in a junior/senior infant class and 5th/6th class respectively but may change at the determination of the principal.


Monard NS is seeking professionals who are team players and willing to contribute to the overall development of a busy school.
The following skills, experience and qualifications are desirable:
Probation
Experience of teaching in multi grade co-educational school
Knowledge and experience of teaching children with special educational needs.
Experience in teaching Aistear, Literacy Lift-Off, Guided Reading, Team-Teaching in Literacy and Numeracy advantageous.

Interests/skills /experience in music and sport would be a distinct advantage.

Applicants must have a Certificate to teach Religious Education. It is desirable that candidates can demonstrate how they will contribute to the overall Catholic ethos of the school.
