An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
Initial duties will be in a Mainstream Class. We are looking for a teacher who:
• Is flexible and responsive to the needs of the children in the school.
• Is energetic and enthusiastic
• Can contribute to our team
• Can work on his/her own initiative and is willing to go the extra mile
In your letter of application please respond demonstrating how you meet the above
requirements. Please also outline your interest and aptitude in one or more of the following and provide evidence of involvement at school and/or parish level:
• Music
• P.E.
• I.T.
• Involvement in projects such as Erasmus, FÍS, Junior Entrepreneur, Creative Schools, Debating etc.
• Other
Desirable: Experience in an Urban setting. If newly qualified please provide relevant grades received in teaching practice.

Candidates called for interview will be required to provide proof of:
Qualifications and Teaching Council Registration.
In order to be eligible for appointment candidates for this position must have a certificate to teach R.E.
