An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
This position is to cover Principal Release days for the 20/21 school year in 5 County Galway/Mayo schools, which will involve travelling (allowances payable).
Muire na Dea Chomhairle N.S Headford is the base school. The other schools are located at: Headford, Cross, Glencorrib and Kilconly.
The successful candidate must be fully probated with full Teaching Council registration. Experience teaching all class levels, including multi-grade, as well as a sound knowledge of Special Education is desirable.
Good classroom management skills, planning skills and flexibility are essential skills for this position.
