Candidates should be energetic, enthusiastic, flexible, able able to work on their own initiative and in a team capacity. All staff are expected to engage in relevant CPD and respect the school ethos.

SNAs can be allocated to any SNA role in the school at any time, at the discretion of the school principal. Knowledge and experience of working with children with ASD is desirable.

Appointment is subject to current Garda vetting requirements, occupational health screening and completion of Children First online training.
