An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
Presentation Primary School is a mainstream school with an Early Intervention ASD Pre-School attached. The successful SNA may be required to work in both settings. Both positions are for a Junior Day SNA post.
Applicants with a Panel Form 1 (PF1) should forward a certified copy of same with their application.
It is desirable that the SNA would have experience of working with young children with a diagnosis of ASD as well as having experience of working with a child with complex needs, medical or physical.
Duties include working with children of all ages, assisting children with intimate care, accessing activities and supporting students with challenging behaviours and complex needs.
Additional relevant qualifications e.g. first aid, manual handling, Lámh, PECS, etc. would be desirable.
Garda Vetting Certificate will be required.
In addition the successful candidate would have a proven flexible approach, demonstrated a willingness to work as part of a team with excellent communication skills and a willingness to avail of further training.
Interviews will take place on Tuesday, 23rd August 2022.
