An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Scoil Mhuire Junior is a Mainstream school with an ASD class. Candidates must be able to work well as part of a team, be flexible, display strong work ethic and demonstrate a willingness to avail of further training. Applicants should have experience and relevant qualifications in working with children with ASD and behavioural needs. A panel of suitable applicants may be set up from which future vacancies may be filled within a four month period from the date on which the Board of Management approves the successful candidate. The positions are for 0.83 of a post.
