An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Scoil Naomh Iosaf, Riverstown invites applicants from highly dedicated candidates for the position of Special Needs Assistant. This is a part-time (0.5) position. Experience of working with challenging behaviour is essential.
The role of the successful candidate may involve working in a special class setting with and along side children with an ASD diagnosis. It may also mean working with children who require support across a range of learning, physical and sensory difficulties.
The appointment will be subject to current vetting requirements, completion of the return to work form as outlined by the HSE. Confirmation of qualifications is also required.
