An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
The position is for a 4th class mixed - 19 boys and 9 girls....28 students.
The class also has a full-time Special Needs Assistant who works with two EBD pupils.
Dynamic and motivated teachers desired to join our dedicated and enthusiastic staff. The ability to work as a team member is a necessity in order to facilitate successful integration.
Experience of teaching in a mixed senior school setting, with older children with challenging / oppositional behaviour would be of benefit.
An ability and willingness to partake in curricular change and to participate in DEIS planning would be advantageous.
Must be willing to teach in an ASD unit class in time to come.
The Board of Management reserves the right to place the class teacher in any setting depending on the needs of the school.
The successful candidate must be ready to begin school for a planning day (Croke Pork Hours) on Wednesday 26th August.
The school reopens on Thursday 27th August 2020.
