An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
The Board of Management of St Francis Senior School invites applicants for the position of Part-Time / Fixed -Term School Caretaker(approximately 20 hours per week over a 5 day period) .The successful applicant must be able to work the hours during times agreed by the Principal / Board of Management.
Ideally applicants will have general maintenance and cleaning skills an understanding of care duties and be willing to work with school staff and management. The initial appointment is Part-Time / Fixed-Term with a probationary 6 months.
The successful candidate should ( either have completed or agree to undertake this training on appointment) :
*A Child Protection Course
*A Manual Handling Certificate (in date)
*A First Aid Certificate (in date)
*A Safe Pass (in date)
* Satisfactory Garda Vetting is necessary before appointment
