An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Candidates must demonstrate practical experience in the management of challenging behaviour and the promotion of positive behaviour strategies.
LÁMH, feeding, use of hoists, ICT skills in assistive technologies are desirable. Candidates must be a willing team member, display a strong work ethic, be flexible and demonstrate confidentiality of the pupils and school at all times. The position will involve working closely with class teachers and other staff in support of children with Special Educational Needs. The successful candidate would ideally have good communication skills and be willing to work as a team member.
The appointment is subject to but not limited to certification of qualifications, Garda Vetting, Occupational Health Screening, completion of TUSLA online Child Safeguarding Training and satisfactory references. OHS Public Health Guidelines will be adhered to during the interview process.
