An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
St. Joseph's Special School are looking for SNAs for a permanent position though other positions (full and part time) may also become available. Initial duties will be in a special class for children with a dual diagnosis of ASD and Severe to Moderate general learning disability. Essential criteria include experience in special education and ASD and relevant qualifications at level 5 or higher and experience of working in an ASD class. The use of PECS, LAMH and the TEACCH approach are desirable.
