An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
St Augustine's special school caters for students aged 8-18 diagnosed with a mild/moderate learning disability. Some students have an additional diagnosis of ASD, ADHD, ADD and hearing/visual impairment. Experience of working in this type of school is highly desirable. Experience of LAMH, AAC devices and trianing in CPI, Epilepsy and Positive Behaviour Support desirable.
