An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
Holy Family is a designated special school. The pupil teacher ratio is 7:1 or 6:1 for pupils with additional needs. There are 3 posts available, 2 replacing Career break and one new fixed term post. One of the successful candidates may be asked to act in a learning support role.There is no requirement for candidates to have qualifications in Deaf Education or Irish Sign Language ISL but an interest in working with deaf children and those with additional complex need is essential. Support and training will be given to the successful candidates.
