An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

St. Anne's Special school is a co-educational school for pupils from 4 to 18 years of age who present with either a severe/profound or moderate general learning disability and/or autism and/or additional needs. 8 class teachers and 21 SNAs provide instruction for all pupils. The successful candidate will be assigned to a group of children presenting with either a severe/profound general learning disability or a moderate general learning disability with autism and additional needs.

As a Catholic School, the successful candidate must have a certificate to teach R.E.

Appointment will be subject, but not limited to, satisfactory references, current and continued registration with the teaching council, current vetting requirements and Occupational Health Screening.
