As Doora N.S. is a Catholic school, applicants for this position must have a certificate to teach R.E. In addition, applicants must be probated.
In addition, the following skills, experience and knowledge are desirable:
• Previous teaching experience in a multi-grade school
• Knowledge of managing a Special Class in a Mainstream setting.
• Evidence of continuing and relevant professional development
• Evidential experience of managing people (in any setting)
• Proven ability to work as a member of a team
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience in prioritising, planning and organising workload
• Proven leadership skills
• An understanding of and commitment to the ethos of a Catholic School
• Previous experience in policy development
• I.C.T. skills
