Behaviour Practitioner-BCBA
Description:
Stepping Stones Special School invites applications for the position of Behaviour Practitioner -BCBA starting on the 1st of September 2020. At present this is a full time position funded by a grant from the Department of Education and Skills. The successful applicant will be employed by the Board of Management of Stepping Stones Special School.
There are 30 pupils with Autism and complex needs enrolled in the school. The BCBA acts as a data driven source of research based preventative and remedial services who reports directly to the school Principal and the Board of Management.
The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:
Hold a BCBA certification
Hold a masters level qualification in Behaviour Analysis or a related field.
Have at least 5 years experience providing behaviour support to individuals aged 4-18 years of age with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Have excellent organisational, communication and leadership skills.
