An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Stepping Stones Special school is a school for children with autism and complex needs from 4-18 years of age. We are located in County Meath. We invite candidates to apply for the position of special class teacher for the remainder of a maternity leave position beginning on the 2nd of March 2020 continuing to the end of the school year. Experience working with children with autism in an educational setting would be an advantage but not essential. Duties, qualifications and salary as outlined on the Department of Education’s website.
