An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

St. Patrick's Primary School are seeking to appoint a bus escort commencing 24th February 2020. The escort will accompany one specific pupil on specialised bus transport from their home to and from school.
The bus escort must be available in the mornings from approximately 7.15am to 9.15am and from 12.15pm to 2.15pm during the school term. Escorts must have their own transport.
The escort is responsible for the safety of the pupil on board the bus and will be required to assist them getting on and off the bus and securing appropriate seat belts.
Experience working with children with autism and complex needs is desirable. Candidates will be expected to collaborate with parents and school staff in a professional way, they will need to communicate regarding pick ups/drop offs, illnesses, traffic delays etc.
Appointment is subject to Garda vetting and appropriate character references.
