Presentation National School teaches boys and girls in Junior infants, Senior infants and First Class. From Second to Sixth class it is girls only.
As Presentation National School is a Catholic School, applicants for this position must have a Certificate to teach R.E. In addition, the following skills experience and knowledge are desirable; previous teaching experience across all classes in a multi-grade school; evidence of continuing and relevant professional development; evidential experience of managing people (in any setting); proven ability to work as a member of a team; excellent communication skills; experience in prioritising, planning and organising workload; proven leadership skills; experience in the development, implementation, operation and evaluation of innovative school-based initiatives; an understanding of and commitment to the ethos of a Catholic School; previous experience in policy development.
A minimum of 3 eligible applications are required for this competition to proceed.
Appointment will be subject, but not limited to: Satisfactory references; current & continuing teaching council registration; current vetting requirements and occupational health screening.
