The Board of Management of St. Paul’s Primary School, Navan, invite applications via email from eligible teachers for the position of Deputy Principal. This is a full-time administrative position.
The Deputy Principal post will be filled in accordance with the terms of Circular 0044/2019. The roles and responsibilities for this post relate to the four domains of leadership and management as specified in Circular 0044/2019. See Chapter 4, section 10.
The Deputy Principal occupies a position of vital importance within the senior leadership team at St. Paul’s, co-operating with the Principal in the fulfilment of the Principal’s role and acting or deputising as the Principal in the Principal’s absence. Besides the discharge of specific administrative and management duties, the Deputy Principal also exercises a leadership and motivational role in the direction of the school enterprise. Together the Principal and Deputy Principal form the senior management team of the school and will work in tandem to fulfil the aims and objectives of the school.
Applications should arrive by 12 noon on the specified closing date.
St. Paul’s Primary School is a Catholic school under the patronage of the Bishop of Meath, and applicants must have a Certificate to teach Catholic religious education.
Appointment will be subject to but not limited to: Satisfactory References, Current Teaching Council Registration, Vetting Requirements, Occupational Health Screening.
