An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
Scoil Chroí Naofa has been designated by DES as a base school for Primary Schools Supply Panel Pilot.
The purpose of the Supply Panel Pilot Scheme is to provide substitute cover in a designated cluster of schools, for teachers who are absent on short term substitutable leave.
Supply panel teachers:
- will be appointed by Scoil Chroí Naofa (the base school) under a fixed term contract until 31st August 2019.
- will be required to provide substitute cover in all schools in the designated cluster;
and
- may be deployed into a variety of settings including various class standards, special education settings and Irish-medium schools.
Travel expenses will be payable to the supply panel teacher as per Circular 0009/2015.
