An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

The Board of Management initially advertised this permanent vacancy on staffroom.ie on the 1st day of August, 2019 for teachers listed on the Supplementary Panel for the Diocese of Waterford and Lismore. The closing date for receipt of expressions of interest was the 5th day of August, 2019. The closing date for submission of expressions of interest from teachers on the relevant Supplementary Panel was extended by advertisement on staffroom.ie to the 7th day of August, 2019.

The Board of Management is now proceeding to fill this permanent vacancy through open competition.

We are looking for energetic, hard-working and flexible teachers to join our staff. As this is a school with two ASD classes it is vital that the applying teacher be enthusiastic about working in our ASD classes.
