Templeglantine N.S. has a bus escort vacancy for the 2019-20 school year (183 days). This post is for two days per week,

The escort will accompany a pupil on transport from their home to and from school.
The bus escort must be available in the mornings from approximately 9.00 to 9.30 am and from 1.50 to 2.20 pm. (These are guide times only and are subject to change depending on need).
Escorts must have their own transport to and from the drop off point agreed with the bus contractor.
The escort is responsible for the safety of the pupils on board the bus/taxi and will be required to provide for pupil care needs including but not limited to assisting them getting on and off the bus, securing appropriate seat belts etc.
Appointment is subject, but not limited to satisfactory references, current Garda vetting requirements, an occupational health screening and Tusla child Safeguarding training.
