St. Tola's NS, Delvin has bus escort vacancies for the 2019-20 school year (183 days).
The escort will accompany pupils on transport from their homes/creche to and from school.
The bus escort must be available in the mornings from approximately 7.30am to 9am and from 1.30 to 4pm. (These are optimum guide times only and depend on the individual routes).
Escorts must have their own transport to and from the drop off point agreed with the bus contractor.
The escort is responsible for the safety of the pupils on board the bus and will be required to provide for pupil care needs including but not limited to assisting them getting on and off the bus, securing appropriate seat belts etc.
Routes may vary but are located between the school and the Delvin/ Collinstown area as we are a regional school.
Appointment is subject, but not limited to satisfactory references, current Garda vetting requirements, an occupational health screening and Tusla child Safeguarding training.
