An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
The following skills, experience and qualifications are desirable
•Full Probation
•A minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a Junior School
setting.
•Experience of working in a multi-cultural school where English is not the first language of a significant number of pupils.
•Experience of teaching children with Special Needs in a mainstream setting.
•Evidence of strong behavioural management skills.
Appointment is subject to current Vetting requirements and OHS.
Successful applicants may have initial duties as a Special Education Teacher.
