An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

This position is 0.83 of a standard post.

Applicants with supplementary panel rights should refer to this in their cover letter and attach a copy of Panel Form 1 (PF1).

Applicants should have qualifications as per Department of Education & Skills Circular 0030/2019.

Desirable experience and skills should include knowledge and experience of working with pupils with physical and medical needs and emotional and behavioural difficulties. Certificate in First Aid also desirable.

Candidates must have a strong work ethic, respect the ethos of the school, work well as part of a team and be willing to avail of relevant training.

Appointment is subject to current vetting requirements and completion of the online TUSLA Child Safeguarding Training.
