Applications are invited from qualified, experienced post-primary teachers of Mathematics for a Temporary Pro- Rata teaching position (25 hours weekly) in Linn Dara School for the 2019/20 school year.
Linn Dara School provides education for pupils who are admitted to either the Linn Dara Inpatient CAMHS Unit or the Linn Dara Adolescent Day Programme in Cherry Orchard Hospital, Dublin 10. It is a designated special school for children with Severe Emotional Behavioural Disturbance, under the patronage of the Health Service Executive. Therefore, teachers are employed as Special Class Teachers, and have the same pay, school holidays and conditions as Primary Teachers.
The successful candidate would ideally have experience of teaching adolescents with severe emotional difficulties and experience of teaching in a special school is desirable. An ability to offer additional post primary subjects and/or a SEN Teaching qualification would be advantageous.
