St. Declan's is a school that follows the full primary curriculum for children who need time-out from mainstream primary schools for a period of up to two to three years.
We follow the full primary school curriculum supporting children experiencing difficulties accessing the mainstream curriculum due to social, emotional or personal issues. Teaching of Irish is a requirement in this special school.
We have a vibrant and supportive team of teachers and SNAs. Pupil/teacher ratio of up to 8:1 with a number of SNAs supporting each grouping.
