An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

St Marks is a special school which caters for children with Mild General Learning Disabilities and/or Autistic Spectrum Disorder (aged 5 to 18 years). Candidates must have strong work ethic, respect the ethos of the school and work well with others. Applicants with panel are invited to submit a certified copy of Panel form 1 (PF1) as required as per circular 0041/2015

Essential Criteria:
Candidates must have at least 1 year experience working in a special school setting that caters for children with Mild General Learning Disabilities and /or Autistic Spectrum Disorder along with an SNA or similar Level 5+ qualification. Experience in assisting students with L1LPs, L2LPs and QQI would be highly desirable.
