Applications are invited for the permanent post of Principal in Lisselton National School. Please clearly mark envelope "Principal Application".
This is a teaching principal position. The school is under the patronage of the Bishop of Kerry. As Lisselton National School is a Catholic school, please include certificate to teach Catholic Religious Education with Application. Appointment is subject, but not limited to, satisfactory references, current and continued registration with the Teaching Council, OHS and current Garda Vetting requirements. In addition, the following are desirable: a commitment to lead and strengthen the Catholic ethos of the school; evidence of continuing and relevant professional development; relevant qualifications in leadership are desirable; an effective leadership style that encourages participation and innovation; evidential expertise in the area of ICT; proven ability to work as a member of a team; excellent communication skills; expertise in planning and organising work load; expertise in the development, implementation, operation and evaluation of innovative school based initiatives;
