An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

This position is a 0.83 position.
It is essential to have practical experience working with non vebal children, dealing with challenging behaviours, children with medical issues, toiletting needs etc. Must have significant experience with T.E.A.C.C.H, PECS, A.B.A. methods. Experience skills and qualifications in the area of Autism and working with young children, are necessary.
Candidates must respect our school ethos, be able to work well within a team, display a strong work ethic, be flexible and demonstate a willingness to avail of further training.
