Description:
We are currently hiring English and Religion teachers for multiple positions in an Ofsted Outstanding school in Harrow. The school is based in Harrow, North West London. This area is a hub for the Irish teaching community, there is easy access to Luton and Heathrow airports.
The school seeks teachers of English and Religion to join it’s exciting and hardworking growing team for September 2019. Graded OFSTED Outstanding in May 2018, OFSTED commented that ‘The behaviour of pupils is outstanding. The school is a calm, orderly place’, and ‘Pupils’ attitudes towards learning are exceptional’. The schools resides in a state of the art building with extensive facilities such as a dedicated ICT/Library facility with dedicated study centre, a theatre, and digital media studios.
The positions are long-term contracts with the possibility of permanency. The role will include teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 English/Religion. In 2020 the school will open their Sixth form and teachers will be expected to teach up to Key Stage 5. Engage Education has worked with this school for 3 years, the school has a very supportive NQT community.
