Panel of Applicants:
An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
• This SNA vacancy is for 0.75 of a post - 24 hours per week.
• Relevant qualifications as per Department of Education & Skills requirements.
• Experience working with pupils with Autism, Diabetes, Medical & Intimate Care Needs, Epilepsy, Seizure Management and Challenging Behaviour desirable.
• Applicants who are deemed to be members of the SNA Supplementary Panel with supplementary panel rights, must furnish a certified copy of a completed Panel Form (PF1) with their application.
• Appointment is subject to current Garda vetting requirements and occupational health screening.
• Candidates must have a strong work ethic, respect the ethos of the school, and be flexible and willing to work as part of an enthusiastic and energetic team and to work under the direction of the class teachers and school Principal.
• Applications will be accepted by email only and must be received on or before 2.30 pm on Friday 31 May 2019.
• Late applications will not be considered.
• Canvassing will disqualify.
• Our SNA allocation is subject to review at any time.
