This is a teaching Principal position. As this is a Catholic school, applicants must have a certificate to teach R.E.

In addition, the following skills, experience and knowledge are desirable: Previous experience in a DEIS school; Previous teaching experience in a multi-grade school; Evidence of continuing and relevant professional development; Evidential experience of managing people (in any setting); Proven ability to work as a member of a team; Excellent communication skills; Experience in prioritising, planning and organising workload; Proven leadership skills; Experience in the development, implementation, operation and evaluation of innovative school-based initiatives; An understanding of and commitment to the ethos of a Catholic school; Previous experience in DEIS planning and policy development.

Candidates called for interview will be required to provide proof of qualifications and Teaching Council registration.

Envelopes should be marked "Principal Teacher Application."

A minimum of 3 eligible applications will be required for this competition to proceed.

Appointment will be subject, but not limited to: Satisfactory references; Current & continuing Teaching Council Registration; current vetting requirements and occupational health screening.
