Teaching Assistants needed in Spain. 2019-2020 Academic year.

Who we are: We are a company of educational services based in Spain. We offer the possibility of entering in our internship program during one academic year. Our programme is a foreign language acquisition program, for education enthusiasts who wish to train in depth and be part of the Spanish educational system.

We believe in a different and fun education, based on modern and effective methods and we look for teaching assistants who have a real vocation to work with young children. We collaborate with schools to find the profile that suits every step of each position, for each school. In addition, we offer continuous, quality and practical training, designed to achieve the best educational results in the classes (Postgraduate).

JOB DESCRIPTION
Teaching assistant positions in different locations in Spain to collaborate in schools from September/October 2019 until May/June 2020.

Around 20-22 hours a week teaching in infant, primary or Secondary. The hours would be completed typically between 08.00 am to 17.30 pm Monday to Friday.

The assistant teacher will be given a timetable at the beginning of the course and induction enough about the role and the TA will work collaboratively and professionally with the teachers in the classrooms, as well as other teaching staff, to maintain and support a positive, nurturing, safe, healthy and inclusive classroom environment that supports learning based on children's needs and interests. The TA will assist with preparing and implementing lesson plans. Expand the children's English learning and understanding by providing language development opportunities.

Moreover, the assistant teacher will receive all the support needed at the school and he/she will be assigned a personal tutor during the whole placement.

Where you can go: Once you are accepted into the program you will choose one of the schools available for you from regions in Spain such as Madrid, Cataluña, Galicia, Navarra, Andalucia, etc.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS.
To have a native level of English.
To have received a university degree (desirable)
A qualification in teaching English as a Foreign Language is recommended too.
Any type of previous experience of working with children is also valued

SALARY
Grant of up to 745 euros/month or equivalent with the possibility of earning extra money as the terms and conditions do not oblige exclusivity, as long as the economic activity does not interfere with the terms and conditions of the grant.

ASSISTANCE
The assistant teacher will receive all necessary support and help with the formalities and administrative requirements related to the role and also in finding accommodation, prior to the arrival, and during the whole participation in our program. Guide through the immigration process on coming to Spain.

Moreover, the assistant teacher will receive all the support needed and she will be assigned a UP’s agent during the whole placement.
