We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher to work as part of our preschool team providing education to children aged 3 – 6 years with a diagnosis of ASD. The candidate would work as part of our growing MDT including SLT and BCBA and specifically as part of a class team providing a fun, safe and educational environment. The role involves working to increasing skills such as communication and play while reducing inappropriate behaviour, through following IEPs and behaviour plans set out for each child, while overseeing the classroom and ensuring all roles and duties are carried out by the team.

Required Experience:
A level 7 education in Psychology, Education, Applied Behaviour Analysis, Social Care, Early Childhood Studies or a related field.
Teaching council number
1 years experience working with children with autism and/or a learning disability.

Desirable:
Awareness or skills in ABA, PECS and/or Lamh teachings.
Experience of working as a room leader / class teacher previously.

The position is full time, reporting to the School Manager, Behaviour Assistant and Head Teacher.
