Description:
RMDS Childcare is currently recruiting for a fun but very responsible role of an After-school Educator. This job requires you to be full of energy and have a passion for what you do.
RMDS Childcare has a part time position available in our after-school service 22.5-25 hours per week.
Time 1pm – 5pm during term time.
Out of term 10am – 2.30pm (camps- February midterm, Easter 4 day camp, July Summer camp, Halloween Camp)
Age -4 years – 12 years.
Ability to work off your own initiative is key and to work as a part of a tight knit team is integral to the role.
We are looking for someone who has good communication skills.
Fluent English
Hold Fetac level 5 in the childcare sector
Ensure a good standard of hygiene.
Attend meetings and undergo training as required.
Homework support, activity planning and execution and care & support for each child in the group.
Co-ordinate the implementation of activities suitable for this age group.
Be aware of safe guarding procedures and advise manager should you have any concerns about a child
Perform other reasonable and relevant duties as may be assigned from time to time
Cleaning, tidying and storage of equipment and toys after use
Follow the policies and procedures of the service at all times
